About this item

🔵 RCWL-1605 Ultrasonic Module – Integrated Transmitter & Receiver with GPIO and I²C 🔵

💡 The RCWL-1605 is a compact ultrasonic module that integrates both transmitter and receiver on a single board.
It can measure distances, detect objects, and enable interactive systems via a digital GPIO output or an I²C serial interface.

Perfect for Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, and smart sensing projects.

⚙️ How It Works

  • The module emits a 40 kHz ultrasonic pulse through its built-in transducer.
  • The receiver captures the reflected echo from an object.
  • The internal circuit processes the signal and provides:
    • a GPIO digital output (high/low depending on detection),
    • or I²C data for more precise distance measurement.

🛡️ Specifications

  • Model: RCWL-1605
  • Operating voltage: 3.3V – 5V DC
  • Interfaces: GPIO (digital) + I²C
  • Ultrasonic frequency: 40 kHz
  • Detection range: approx. 2 cm – 200 cm
  • Digital output: HIGH/LOW
